There are emotions we carry quietly within us- beautiful, pristine and delicate,
but unspoken, unheard, unhealed yet deeply present.
Not everything we feel finds its way into words.
Sometimes, it stays in the pauses between conversations,
in the heaviness of silence,
or in the thoughts we choose not to share.
In fear of being judged, we hold our voices down.
We learn, over time, to hold our words back.
To protect ourselves.
To avoid being misunderstood, dismissed, or hurt.
But what remains unexpressed does not disappear.
It settles within us, shaping how we think, feel, and respond.
Emotional distance often begins here.
Not in the absence of connection,
but in the absence of expression.
Healing does not always require immediate answers.
Sometimes, it begins with simply acknowledging and dealing with
what we have been carrying all along.
To sit with it.
To understand it.
To allow it to exist without judgment.
Because in that quiet recognition,
Life and our position in it begin to shift.
And slowly, what was once unspoken
finds its way toward understanding.
